Email your MP - Keep Welfare on Track

Our mission is to ensure that greyhounds receive the highest standard of care throughout their lives, from birth to retirement. This is set out in our long-term welfare strategy, ‘A Good Life for Every Greyhound’. To continue to deliver this ambitious strategy and further optimise greyhound welfare, we require sustained funding from the bookmaking companies who profit from our sport.

This increased, reliable funding would enable us to deliver key welfare programmes to ensure that every canine athlete has a good career followed by a long and happy retirement as a pet.

This page details our key requests from both the government and bookmakers to help secure funding for greyhound welfare and ensure a sustainable future for the industry.
